Erasmus+ KA2 project with the aim to improve quality assurance in transnational VET mobility.


On April 27-28, the second Erasmus + Strategic Partnership project "European Quality Assurance in Transnational VET Mobility through Socially Responsible Behavior" took place in Vilnius College - STAYMOBIL Nr. 2017-1-UK01-KA202-036666 Partner Meeting. Attending the meeting in Vilnius was the staff of Vilnius College - the head of the Simulith Center, MTF lecturer Rima Bačiulytė and business consultant of Simulith Center Marius Ignatonis.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of cross-border vocational education and training mobility through a socially responsible Mobility Action for all VET, thereby promoting and further improving the quality of mobility and the further use of learning outcomes. The result of the project is the creation of a sustainable framework for the international mobility of vocational education and training, consisting of 4 documents:

The Reference Framework, defining the quality indicators for mobility, aimed at assessing, monitoring and promoting quality assurance and sustainability at all stages of the management of mobility in vocational education and training.
Practical Assessment Toolkit (Practice Kit) to verify and evaluate all stages of the mobility provided by methodological quality of the processes defined in the description of quality indicators for the sending and receiving interim mobility organizations.
Recommendations Booklet, which explains how the first two measures tested in the partner countries should be implemented in practice.
The skills assessment tool (Performance Skillbox) to assess the vocational training mobility of participants social responsibility level before and after the mobility, allowing students and staff to evaluate the results of its social responsibility as an essential learning outcomes.
The meeting reviewed and further developed the first result of the project, discussed the follow-up and terms, divided the work between the partners, an overview of communication tools and the dissemination and project management documents.

The project involves six countries and partners:

United Kingdom - Europa Training (Coordinator);
Bulgaria - European Center for Quality;
Germany - EVBB;
Italy - Essenia UETP;
Portugal - A.I.A.M (Mobility Friends);
Lithuania is a college in Vilnius.
